   Homosexual or heterosexual, in the former case taking the female role. The use comes from the pet name given to someone who may share the timid character of the rabbit.
   Also descriptive of females, in many phrases denoting the venue, such as beach, jazz, ski, or surf bunny.
   2. a towel worn during menstruation
   From its shape and feel. Whence the Australian buns on, menstruating.
