crap

crap
   associated with hanging people
The meaning to defecate is venerable and not euphemistic; nor is crapper, a lavatory or a person who defecates. Death by hanging, with the muscular relaxation and the fear, caused a loss of urine and faeces:
The hangman was Jack Ketch... the crap merchant, the crapping cull, the switcher, the cramper, the sheriffs journeyman, the gaggler, the topping-cove, the roper or scragger. (R. Hughes, 1987, describing 19th-century criminal argot)
